Manages freight flow by moving and loading freight manually and with powered equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, lifts, pacers), identifying, counting, separating, combining, and scanning freight, using warehouse systems, terminals, scales, and scanners, and maintaining records, logs, and forms;
Complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards by implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying policies in daily business practices;
Maintains work area organization and freight flow by keeping areas clean, stacking empty pallets, and moving pallets using manual or powered equipment;
Monitors freight to ensure cold chain and species compliance;
Demonstrates skills in palletizing, machinery operation, ethical conduct, cold chain handling, material handling, order picking, and operating pallet jacks.
