Shipping​/Receiving Forklift Operator

Job Summary

The Material Handler supports efficient warehouse operations at Service Partners, ensuring accurate and undamaged orders while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

• Pick orders using an RF scanning gun.
• Move product and material with forklift or pallet jack.
• Open containers using steel cutters, crowbar, claw hammer, or other hand tools.
• Manually load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, shelves, or trucks, installing strapping, bracing, or padding.
• Convey materials to or from storage or work sites using hand truck, electric dolly, or other devices.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds.
• Participate in periodic workplace safety learning sessions.
• Perform any additional duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license required if operating a company vehicle.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• RF scanning experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and perform climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, and ladder climbing as needed.
