Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Neurohospitalist Leader, based in Valhalla, NY. The Neurohospitalist Leader will oversee and provide specialized medical care for neurological disorders, including responsibility for patient diagnoses, treatment plans, and managing patients with conditions like epilepsy and movement disorders. Additional tasks include interpreting tests such as EEGs, collaborating with medical staff, and contributing to the consistent delivery of high-quality patient care.
Leadership responsibilities may include mentoring medical staff and optimizing care delivery processes within the neurology division.
- Proficiency and experience in Medicine and Neurology
- Specialized knowledge and clinical expertise in Epilepsy and Movement Disorders
- Competence in interpreting and managing EEG studies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Board certification in Neurology and relevant subspecialty focus
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in a hospital setting is preferred
