Responsibilities for Mid-level Mechanical Engineer- Plan, conceptualize, and create HVAC mechanical designs for new and retrofit buildings/projects in the mission critical environment
- Duct design/piping design experience
- Central plant cooling design
- Perform typical HVAC engineering calculations to support design work
- Create technical drawings, plans, and specifications (using computer software) for review by Sr. Engineer
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors
- Ensure project timelines are met and project stays within budget
- Able to travel to project sites
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- EIT/PE a plus
- 5 years (min) of experience working for a design engineering firm, Mission Critical design experience a plus
- Firm grasp of engineering concepts including theoretical and practical applications for HVAC Systems
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly
- Must be self‑motivated and know project design steps/requirements
The U.S. pay range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
