We are hiring immediately for a full time PATIENT AMBASSADOR position.

  • Location:

    Westchester Medical Center – 100 Woods Road, Valhalla, NY 10595 (online applications only)
  • Schedule:

    Monday – Friday; must work every other weekend (additional details upon interview)
  • Requirement:
    Hospitality experience required.
  • Fixed Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary: As a Patient Ambassador, you will serve as the primary representative of the Patient Experience Team for your unit. You are responsible for completing all assigned patient interviews and new admission visits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct new admission visits within the timeframe established by unit leaders.
  • Demonstrate hospitality (respect) orientation toward customers and clients.
  • Support client satisfaction and retention.
  • Promote patient experience program awareness.
  • Assist in customizing programs to meet each account’s needs.
  • Develop and monitor patient satisfaction action plans; report to clients as needed.
  • Support effective employee relations programs at the unit site.
  • Encourage employee creativity and innovation.
  • Provide recognition for employees when programs are successfully implemented.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks when requested and resolve housekeeping issues in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of office procedures and contract administration.
  • Working knowledge of the environment to meet established goals and objectives.
  • Fiscal and budgetary skills.
