Position: Career Growth Opportunity – Behavior Technician (RBT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and caring Behavior Technician (BT) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and making a positive impact every day.

Responsibilities
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by a BCBA.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy in home, clinic, school, or community settings.
  • Collect accurate data on client progress.
  • Assist clients in developing communication, social, daily living, and coping skills.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, families, and team members.
  • Participate in ongoing training and team meetings.
Preferred Experience

  • Teacher or Teacher Assistant
  • Daycare Worker or Childcare Provider
  • ABA Therapist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

  • Youth Counselor
  • Early Intervention Specialist

Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or behavioral challenges is highly valued.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required (Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field preferred).
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain patient, professional, and compassionate.
  • Reliable transportation (if required for travel).
  • Ability to pass background check.
  • RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire).
