At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at‑risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community‑based services. A COA Accredited Agency, CMCS has provided services in locations throughout Westchester and Rockland Counties, as well as the Bronx and Manhattan since 1946.
As Recruiter
, you will serve as the initial point of contact for full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding efforts. This includes sourcing, posting jobs, identifying suitable candidates, conducting screenings, negotiating offers, developing offer letters, preparing onboarding documentation and scheduling PPD, fingerprint and employment checks through OPWDD, OCFS, DOE and DOH, and working with a third‑party screening and verification vendor. You will also act as a point of contact and build relationships with prospective employees and hiring managers during the employment process.
This position is considered Hybrid and requires on‑site work 4 days per week in our Valhalla, NY and/or Bronx, NY offices.
Education & Experience- HS Diploma and 1‑2 years experience
- Preferred experience recruiting/onboarding in a non‑profit environment
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Detail‑oriented and good organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft applications, ADP and Google Docs

Salary: $50000 – $52000 per year
