Digital Asset Manager needed for a hybrid role in Valhalla, NY! Pay: $45 to $50 per hour
We are seeking an experienced Digital Asset Manager to oversee product information, digital assets, and content workflows supporting a growing marketing and eCommerce organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to digital content, improving workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product information and creative assets are accurate, organized, and easily accessible. The Digital Asset Manager will play a key role in managing digital asset and product information platforms while supporting marketing, merchandising, product management, and development teams.
This position combines digital asset management (DAM), product information management (PIM), workflow optimization, and data governance to deliver high-quality content across multiple sales channels.
- Administer Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms, including user permissions, access rights, and asset distribution settings
- Manage workflows for content approval, version control, and digital asset distribution
- Serve as the primary liaison between marketing teams, technical teams, and software vendors
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve workflow efficiency
- Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate resolutions
- Manage Adobe Stock administration, licensing, and platform integrations
- Maintain accurate product information within PIM and DAM systems
- Develop and enforce taxonomy standards and metadata structures
- Conduct routine audits to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Support catalog setup and product readiness for new launches
- Ensure digital assets are searchable, organized, and compliant with established standards
- Partner with Product, Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Content, Catalog Operations, and Development teams
- Support website launches and promotional campaigns by ensuring digital assets are available and accurate
- Collaborate on technical requirements, system enhancements, and future platform improvements
- Develop training materials and serve as the subject matter expert for DAM platform users
- Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and content quality
- Track digital asset usage and analyze user search behavior
- Generate reports to measure asset performance and support business decisions
- Develop best practices for content governance and digital asset management
- Lead initiatives that improve workflows and encourage adoption of new processes across teams
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Creative Design, or a related field preferred (not required)
- 5+ years of experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM), Product Information Management (PIM), Product Management, or a related field
- Experience supporting eCommerce or digital merchandising environments is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with enterprise DAM/PIM platforms such as
- Bynder
- Akeneo
- Salsify
- In River
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of taxonomy, metadata management, data governance, and content syndication
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting website merchandising and eCommerce product launches
Experience improving digital workflows and automation
Passion for delivering exceptional digital customer experiences
Experience training users and driving adoption of new systems and processes
