Duration: 12+ Months Contract/Possibility of extension
Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM EST
Pay Rate: $30/hr
Responsibilities- Support scientists in testing new ingredients and beverage models.
- Accurately prepare samples.
- Submit samples for analytical or sensory testing.
- Thoroughly document experimental details.
- Capable of performing all activities in a safe manner and within the context of safety protocols.
- Capable of working in the lab under GLP/GMP practices.
- Ability to manage multiple project tasks to support the individuals of the workgroup, manage time and expectations for group needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Food Technology, or related field.
- Laboratory bench work experience in school or at a consumer goods company. (Experience in food and beverage industry is a plus).
- Familiarity with lab analytical instruments and beverage processing equipment.
- Good organizational skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and self-motivated.
- Computer
Skills:
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook (email/calendar).
