R&D Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented R&D Technician to join our innovative team in Valhalla, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and development processes, with the ability to assist in experimental design, data collection, and analysis while contributing to product improvement and development initiatives.

• 🎯 Assist in conducting experiments and tests to support product development
• 🔬 Analyze data and document findings for reporting purposes
• 🛠️ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product innovations
• 📋 Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• 📝 Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
• 🤝 Support training of junior staff members in lab protocols

• ✅ 1–3+ years hands on experience in a microbiology lab (or equivalent academic, internship or co‑op experience)
• ✅ BS or MS in Microbiology, Biology, Food Science, or related discipline with microbiology coursework/labs.
• ✅ Experience in microbiology (bacteria, microbes, fungi, pathogens, and yeast); will consider cell culture experience as long as have experience with cell counting and media preparation
• ✅ A septic technique; operation of micro lab equipment (autoclave, incubators, membrane filtration, pH meter, balances, biosafety cabinet)
• ✅ Serial dilutions, pour/spread plates, colony counting, culture transfers
