Job Summary
We are seeking a Property Assistant for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Vallejo, CA within the real estate and property management industry. This role is ideal for an organized administrative professional with experience supporting affordable housing documentation, resident files, applicant records, and TCAC/HUD compliance processes.
The Property Assistant will work closely with property management and compliance teams to help maintain accurate files, support certifications and recertifications, and ensure documentation is complete and well organized. Key Responsibilities- Maintain, organize, and update resident, applicant, and compliance files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
- Process and review TCAC and HUD documentation, including certifications, recertifications, and supporting compliance records.
- Assist with file audits, inspections, compliance reviews, and preparation of documentation for internal and external review.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in property management software, databases, and office systems.
- Provide administrative support by answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, and coordinating meetings.
- Perform general office duties including filing, scanning, copying, document management, and records maintenance.
- Pay rate: $25.00 to $26.00 per hour.
