Emergency - Administrative Analyst - Public Safety

Manage the department's administrative operations.

• Process departmental purchases using Pro Card transactions and Purchase Orders.
• Operate the CSU Buy procurement system.
• Reconcile monthly expenditures and maintain financial records.
• Ensure compliance with CSU procurement policies and procedures.
• Administer the parking permit program and Ven Tek International Permit Machine venVUE Revenue Collection System.
• Manage parking permits, revenue reporting, and system operations.
• Assess parking demand and coordinate permit allocation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for parking enforcement and customer service.
• Handle parking disputes, inquiries, and appeals.
• Communicate and enforce university parking policies and procedures.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise student employees supporting front office operations.
• Coordinate Parking Advisory Committee meetings, agendas, attendance, minutes, and committee materials.
• Provide training and guidance on parking procedures, permit issuance, and parking management system operations to student assistants, Port Security Guards, and Police Officers.

This position is located in Vallejo, California at the Cal Poly Maritime Academy.

Education And Experience

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college of university. One year of technical or administrative experience. A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Salary

• Anticipated Hiring Range: $27.69 - $30.57 per hour
• Classification Range: $27.69 - $40.34 per hour
• Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Anticipated Hiring Range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Classification Range may be broader than what the University anticipates paying for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
