Job Summary

Work alongside waterfront crew maintaining vessels and shore side facility during the summer bridge program. We will be preparing all the Cal Poly Maritime Academy vessels for use in the Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 school year. Employment duration will be from May 4, 2026 to August 16, 2026. Duration options available, please email Mr. Baugh at jbaugh.

Job Duties
  • Cleaning, prepping and painting of all vessels
  • Maintenance of boathouse, pier and land
  • Preparing Vessels for USCG Certificate of Inspection
Required Qualifications
  • Understanding of Safety Management Systems
  • Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment
  • Basic knowledge of prepping and painting
  • Working aloft
  • Knowledge of Hazmat recognition and disposal
  • Training in Forklift and crane operations
