Student Library Worker
Student library workers are responsible for carrying out basic tasks in support of library operations.
Position work hours: 5-30 hours per week
Rate of pay: $20 per hour
Responsibilities- Apply circulation policies to assist patrons with the checkout, renewal, and check-in of library materials.
- Perform end-processing of library physical materials, including labeling and creating book jackets.
- Staff the library circulation service desk.
- Refer research and curricular questions to appropriate library faculty.
- Perform stacks maintenance, including shifting, shelf-reading, general tidying, and search for missing books.
- Monitor the library space for safety.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Professional communication skills.
- Reading and higher order thinking skills.
- Previous library experience preferred.
Federal Work Study eligible undergraduate and graduate students attending Touro University California.
Maximum SalaryUSD $20.00/Hr.
Minimum SalaryUSD $20.00/Hr.
