Job Title

Instructional Faculty Member

Specific responsibilities include:

• Didactic instructional faculty:
• Work closely with the Director of Didactic Education or other PA Principal Faculty.
• Develop and deliver lecture and laboratory material content that meet course objectives.
• Develop and/or implement evaluation tools to assess the student's knowledge of course content as outlined in the course objectives.
• Provide remediation as needed for students with sub-standard performance
• Clinical instructional faculty:
• Work closely with the Director of Clinical Education or other PA Principal Faculty.
• Work with PA students in the clinical setting, assigning appropriate patients
• Assess the knowledge, skills and attitudes of PA students
• Both:
• Advise the program director and other appropriate individuals of any problems related to behavior, academics or professionalism.

Qualifications include:

• Current certification, licensure and terminal degree appropriate to the teaching responsibilities.
• Clinical experience and teaching experience is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to address different audiences
• Highly organized, self-starter
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
