Job Description
Napa Valley College is soliciting applications for part‑time, hourly Technical Mathematics instructors in the Division of Career Education. The instructors will teach practical mathematics as applied to technical and trade work, focusing on topics such as mathematical symbols, geometry, algebra, trigonometry, graphing, unit factoring, and applications to technical/trade work. Placement is based on verified previous college teaching or counseling experience.
The starting salary range is $74.84–$80.94 per classroom hour, with potential to increase up to $94.69 per classroom hour.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree and at least two years of professional experience related to the teaching assignment.
- Associate degree and at least six years of professional experience related to the teaching assignment.
- All degrees must be from an accredited institution.
