Position SummaryWe are looking for a compassionate, organized and student-focused Operations Support Staff to join our team! You’ll work collaboratively with your colleagues to support the school site in a variety of ways. Operations Support Staff may take on any of the following responsibilities:
- Respond to teachers requests for copies in a timely fashion
- Making sure copies are of high quality and organized
- Monitor students to ensure safety and build meaningful relationships with our students and other staff.
- Organize library materials and help with check-out when necessary.
You will also receive training and support through high-quality professional development and coaching. The Director of School Operations will communicate with Operations Support Staff around which of the following roles they own and when each role should be completed.

Essential Job Functions General Support:- Attend on campus trainings to prepare for roles and during the year to stay informed of school priorities and needs
- Communicate absence to Director of School Operations and support with sub arrangements when possible/necessary
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of School Operations
In the cafeteria they will:
- Circulate the cafeteria making sure students have everything they need and are complying with Caliber School rules and procedures.
- Assist in or lead the dismissal process.
On the play yard they will:
- Assist in resolving minor student conflicts
- Ensure students are following the playground school rules and procedures.
- Monitor students in restrooms
- Lead particular games (training on this will be provided).
- Collect equipment left in playground areas by students.
- Oversee the distribution and collection of recess equipment
- Receive print jobs via email from staff and fulfill their orders, often within a 24 hour period.
- Check printed orders for completion and quality ensuring there are no errors in the print job
- Fix paper jams in the printer or request tech support when the printer is not working or a jam cannot be easily fixed.
- Complete orders that contain: color printing, black and white printing, posters, booklets, other miscellaneous classroom resources, laminating, and book binding.
- Return completed orders to staff mailboxes
- Checking in books that were returned the previous day.
- Reshelving books on a daily basis
- Walking students to library and back to classrooms
