Responsibilities

The Service Technician t is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing technical equipment used across l operations, photo kiosks, digital signage, and related technology. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent functionality of equipment, minimal downtime, and a seamless guest experience across retail locations.

  • Install, configure, maintain, and repair technical equipment including POS systems, photo kiosks, printers, monitors, and networked devices.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance across assigned retail locations.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot issues on-site or remotely to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Collaborate with retail staff and supervisors to resolve equipment issues and improve reliability.
  • Maintain service logs, inventory of spare parts, and accurate documentation of completed work.
  • Ensure all equipment is safe, clean, functional, and compliant with company standards.
  • Coordinate with IT, vendors, or third-party support when escalations or specialized repairs are needed.
  • Assist with system upgrades, relocations, and the setup of new retail installations.
  • Train end users on proper use and basic troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Support special events, seasonal activations, or equipment setup for new product launches as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in technical support, field service, or maintenance, preferably in a retail or entertainment environment.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, computers, and networking principles.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair hardware and software issues with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites as needed.
