We're partnering with a well-established, multi-entity supply chain organization serving the food, beverage, and specialty goods space to identify a hands-on Controller who thrives at the intersection of finance, operations, and logistics.

This is not a "hands-off" role. It's an opportunity for a senior accounting leader who enjoys being close to the business-supporting warehousing, transportation, and omnichannel distribution while helping scale processes as the platform continues to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the monthly and annual close across multiple entities
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reporting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis tied to operational drivers
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition tied to warehousing, logistics, and transportation services
• Partner closely with Operations to align activity data, billing, and financial reporting
• Oversee labor allocations, payroll-related accounting, and intercompany activity
• Maintain balance sheet integrity across AR, reserves, accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets
• Oversee cash activity, reconciliations, collections support, and working capital metrics
• Manage capital assets including fleet, equipment, and facility improvements
• Design and maintain strong internal controls across all accounting functions
• Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors
• Oversee sales tax, property tax, and regulatory reporting
• Own accounting systems, chart of accounts, and financial master data
• Drive automation and process improvements to streamline close and reporting
• Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team while building scalable processes

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of close and reporting
• Strong GAAP knowledge and audit readiness experience
• Background in logistics, warehousing, transportation, distribution, or food & beverage strongly preferred
• Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Operations
• CPA a plus, not required
