Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Nursing based in Vallejo, CA. The Director of Nursing will oversee all nursing staff operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include managing patient care, supervising nursing staff, implementing and maintaining infection control protocols, and developing strategies for short-term and long-term care residents. The role also requires upholding high standards of medical and nursing practices to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Nursing Management and leadership, including the ability to supervise and coordinate a team effectively.
• Knowledge and experience with Infection Control measures and protocols to maintain patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Nursing practices and clinical care, with a solid understanding of medical principles and procedures.
• Experience in providing and overseeing Long-term Care, with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Active RN license in California.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required;
  Master’s degree or additional certifications in related fields preferred.
• Previous experience in a leadership or management position in a healthcare setting is strongly recommended.
