Vulcan Materials Company is the nation’s largest producer of construction aggregates and a major producer of aggregates-based construction materials including asphalt and ready‑mixed concrete.

• Promote Safety – actively prioritize safety to maintain zero accidents and comply with all Vulcan policies.
• Organize and Plan Production – schedule daily plant operations to ensure optimal utilization of plant, equipment, personnel, and inventory; handle site planning and pit development.
• Manage Employee Relations – lead training, team building, and supervision; work with HR to recruit, evaluate, and develop employees.
• Monitor Processes and Materials – analyze production and quality control, monitor operational reports, implement preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
• Maintain Compliance – build a safety culture to meet Vulcan’s safety, operations, and environmental standards.
• Inspect Equipment and Perform Repairs – oversee daily inspection and maintenance to keep equipment safe and reliable.

• Experience – prior supervisory experience in an aggregate/sand‑gravel or asphalt plant preferred.
• Leadership & Management Skills – ability to mentor and motivate direct and indirect reports.
• Operational Knowledge – knowledge of mining, ready‑mix concrete, asphalt operations, MSHA regulations, engineering principles, quality control systems.
• Interpersonal Skills – excellent motivator, team builder, effective communicator with internal and external audiences.
• Financial Knowledge – experience leading financial performance to meet or exceed targets.
• Working Conditions – ability to work outside in all weather conditions and tolerate loud noises.

• Base salary range: $105,000–$125,000 annual salary, plus discretionary bonus and equity.
