American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 13-week assignment requiring CA RN license and 2 years of recovery room experience.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC only)
- Minimum 2 years of recovery room experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required
- Work in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours, 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Fixed schedule of Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with no weekends required
- Uses Epic charting system
- Provide recovery room nursing care to post-anesthesia patients
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract
- Holiday coverage applies to New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, with holiday periods running from 7:00 PM the night before through 7:00 AM the day after
- Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
- Returning staff/travelers must have a minimum 1-year separation before returning as a traveler
- Candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
- 7-year work history verification required for all candidates
