As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Unit in Vallejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, access concerns, and/or potential theft-related activity, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Maintain an armed post in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements while interacting professionally with staff, visitors, and/or shoppers.

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
