OverviewResponsible for managing all aspects and functions of assigned HVAC installation projects, including planning, coordinating, and directing activities of the installation department; maintaining a workforce aligned with business activity; scheduling projects to ensure profitability, timely completion, and maximum customer satisfaction; communicating installation information to proper personnel for effective planning and execution; and managing and developing employees to create a positive work environment.
Responsibilities- Direct oversight of installation dispatching, ordering, warehousing, truck inventory and maintenance, and tool inventory and maintenance
- Oversee the building and completion of installation job packets
- Ensure complete and accurate forms in job folders
- Accurately order materials to complete each installation
- Approve assignment of installation crews to each installation job
- Oversee the coordination of materials procurement with approved vendors for maximum efficiency and cost
- Oversee the tracking of all unused materials and returns or reuse on another job as applicable
- Oversee the inventory of all truck and warehouse material and product stock
- Maintain safety and quality as a top priority by scheduling and conducting monthly safety meetings
- Conduct regular job site and truck inspections
- File permits for installations requiring local permits to commence job
- Maintain departmental budget expectations including job costing analysis of completed jobs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in the HVAC industry
- NATE certification preferred
- Strong communication skills and technical competence
- Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
- Clean driving record
Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
