Equipment Operator
Trillium Construction is now hiring excavator operators for long term employment in Vallejo!
We are looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operator. We are looking for an experienced operator to join our team and operate heavy machinery in an engineering setting.
Pay rate is $50 an hour with Per Diem available when traveling only.
This position shall perform the following tasks as directed by the Company:
- Equipment Operation & Safety
-Operate Dozers, Excavators, Compactors, Rollers, Track loaders, and Water trucks
-Conduct safety/tailgate meetings and enforce all safety regulations on jobsite - Travel & Scheduling
-This position must be available for long-distance day travel (100+ miles) and multi-day out-of-state work as needed.
-Flexibility is required to adjust to varying equipment deployment and service schedules, including early mornings or weekends when necessary. - Work Location & Hours
-10-hour shifts; with some possibility of overtime
-Day shift with potential for evening shifts in the future
-Some travel may exceed 100 miles/day or require overnight stays
Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience
-5+ years of underground/surface construction experience
-Able to safely demonstrate the proper skill and knowledge of operating heavy equipment with operating and safety certification a plus
-Basic knowledge of stripping, demolition and excavation for all site work activities
-Thorough understanding of the construction trade
-Must have reliable transportation
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
-Be able to work in a team environment or autonomously
