Delivery Specialist

Compensation & Pay Range

Pay Range: $16.50 - $24.50 per hour, meeting or exceeding minimum wage, plus additional annual or quarterly performance premiums in certain circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed and may apply multiple times when criteria are met.

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections before operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet cards, devices, and collected monies at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents or damage immediately to store manager.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled; lock and secure vehicle at end of day's business.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist with customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, and other duties as assigned.
• Might occasionally serve as cashier and help with merchandising tasks as business dictates.

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record meeting the company's 14/18‑point system.
• Legally required state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiarity with automotive parts (desired).
• Ability to operate other light store equipment (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages;
  Spanish highly desired.
