Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to lead Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) operations on a large‑scale mission‑critical data center project in the Fargo, North Dakota area.
This individual will oversee all phases of project execution, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, procurement, quality control, safety, and project closeout while working closely with Superintendents, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
This is a site‑based leadership role supporting one of the company's largest and most technically challenging projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead MEP project execution from preconstruction through final project closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, cash flow, contracts, procurement, and cost control.
- Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing trade contractors.
- Review RFIs, shop drawings, ASIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Collaborate closely with Superintendents to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
- Lead owner meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and project progress reviews.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and AP's Incident & Injury Free (IIF) culture.
- Monitor project risks, schedules, budgets, profitability, and overall operational performance.
- Maintain exceptional client relationships while delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 10+ years of MEP or Mechanical Project Management experience.
- Experience managing large commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Data Center experience preferred (advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or other mission‑critical facilities will also be considered).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor management.
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- OSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain).
- Must be willing to relocate or travel to Fargo, ND for this site‑based position.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available.
