VCSU Student - Lab Tech

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only VCSU students are eligible to be hired in this position. Unsolicited applications to this posting will NOT be considered or responded to.

This position is subjected to North Dakota Veteran's Preference requirements.

As a student lab tech in this department, your primary role is to support the Physics Department in lab duties/set up- hours and duties arranged with Dr. DeMuth. Work up to 3-5 hours per week:
Wednesdays

• Maintain confidentiality.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned pertinent to the position.
• Must be a positive role model on and off the job.
• Must know and abide by all University rules and regulations.
• Must maintain a positive attitude toward the position.

Be a full-time undergraduate student (basic).

• Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised.
• TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED
• Skill in observing situations.
• Ability to work and make decisions with minimal supervision.
• Good interpersonal skills and desire to be a team player.
• Common courtesy in working with students, employees, and the public.
• Good organization and time management skills.

• Regularly required to move about. Will be Walking/Standing most of the shift.
