Senior Project Engineer, CAD – Hybrid

Engineering Operations Applications Transformation (EATO)

This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work in Valley City, OH, 3 days a week.

Engage in product development, create reusable CAD assets, support new product teams, and contribute to process improvement in CAD/PLM.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong parametric 3D CAD skills in CATIA (V5‑V6 or 3
  
  DEXPERIENCE) – Part Design, Assembly Design, Sheet metal, Drawings, Surfacing, Knowledgeware, etc.
• 8+ years of product development experience
• Understanding of GD&T and 2D drafting principles
• Experience with PLM systems (ENOVIA, Windchill, Smart Team, Teamcenter, or similar)
• General knowledge of manufacturing processes (Injection Molding, Casting, Sheet metal, etc.)
• Knowledge of CAD/PLM industry trends, including AI applications
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, OPT/CPT, TN, etc.)

• Support and mentor Valley City CATIA users in efficient product creation using CATIA and 3
  
  Dx PLM
• Host and document CAD Planning meetings with project team members
• Deliver global Tools & Outdoor PLM/CAD communications from EATO to the Outdoor community
• Test and provide feedback on CAD/PLM functions and processes
• Use CATIA to create, modify, and review reusable 2D & 3D assets for platforms supporting new product development
• Deliver CATIA training (onsite and remote) for new users and specific courses; translate materials as needed
• Provide regular support for end users and support calls
• Create or modify documentation to support CAD/PLM processes and instructional materials
• Review and change PLM records
• Collaborate with other EATO team members on related tasks

• Competitive salary: $90,000 – $144,900 annually
