Program Controls Organization Financial Analyst, Junior

The Opportunity:

As a junior program control analyst on our team, you will assist in providing contract finan cia l management for multiple contracts. You’ll work closely with internal clients and infrastructure departments to support the analysis and resolution of finan cia l, contractual, and administrative issues. Under the guidance of experience d colleagues, you’ll help prepare monthly finan cia l status reports and review contract awards and modifications for accuracy.

You’ll contribute to risk mitigation efforts, assist with managing reserves, and support business or budget planning and finan cia l analyses, all while developing foundational skills in government contract ing finan cia l management and compliance.

What You’ll Work On:

Compile, analyze, and report finan cia l data to support program objectives.

Assist with budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Monitor program expenditures and identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.

Prepare finan cia l documentation and backup for audits and reviews.

Collaborate with finance leadership to ensure consistent tracking and communication of finan cia l status.

Apply AI tools and techniques to enhance finan cia l analysis, forecasting, and process automation.

You Have:

Experience with program finance or business operations support, including finan cia l reporting, forecasting, variance analyses, or contract management

Experience using Micro sof t Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Power Point Experience  using Micro sof t Excel formulas, including in a finan cia l tracking, analysis, and reporting environment

Experience leveraging AI tools for finan cia l analysis, forecasting, and process automation

Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations Ability to identify, research, and solve finan cia l problems

Ability to be a team player, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing requirements

Ability to learn new tools, processes, and technologies, and follow instructions and guidelines with supervision

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

Experience with government contract ing

Experience with SharePoint or other collaboration tools, and finan cia l modeling or budget ing tools

Experience with data analysis or business intelligence platforms

Experience with process improvement or risk mitigation activities

Knowledge of GAAP and contract types

Ability to seek training or professional development opportunities

Possession of excellent detail-oriented, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

Secret clearance

Finance, Accounting, or Government Contract ing Certification Clearance:
