Certified Nursing Assistant

Good Samaritan is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide PRN bedside care to patients in our faith-based health center. The CNA will assist with ADLs, vital signs, patient transport, basic clinical tasks, and documentation while supporting nurses and providers. This role promotes comfort, dignity, and safety for patients from underserved communities. The ideal candidate is mission-driven, reliable, and skilled in patient care, infection control, and teamwork.

• Provide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Obtain and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and transport within the facility
• Support nurses and providers with basic clinical and clerical tasks
• Maintain clean, safe patient rooms and follow infection control protocols
• Document care and observations accurately in medical records
• Provide compassionate, respectful support to diverse, underserved patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support whole-person care
• Monitor patient comfort and promptly respond to call lights
