Structural Design Engineer

This position bridges professional engineering expertise and frontier AI development. Your focus is on transforming structural intelligence into a scalable product — not performing routine engineering tasks.

You'll sit at the intersection of structural engineering judgment and autonomous AI, encoding your domain knowledge into systems that can verify designs, check material standards, and enforce building codes at scale.

You'll work directly with the founders to encode structural engineering knowledge into AI agents, shape the product roadmap, and deliver real results to enterprise AEC clients.

• • Convert structural logic, material standards, and building codes into patterns AI agents can execute
• • Collaborate with leadership to test features, ship weekly iterations, and maintain professional-grade accuracy
• • Lead technical implementation of AI-generated reviews for enterprise clients
• • Conduct technical meetings with major firms to understand internal standards and pain points
• • Analyze large datasets to identify recurring design issues and develop automated verification systems

• • 2+ years structural design experience with familiarity of manual drafting challenges
• • Demonstrated QA/QC expertise with independent peer review experience
• • Ability to abstract specific project patterns into universal engineering logic
• • Strong communication skills and inclination toward workflow automation
• • Bonus: BIM coordination or Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) experience
• • Bonus: familiarity with AI/ML tools or startup environments
