Sr. Accountant

Location: Valparaiso, IN (Fully Onsite)
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Valparaiso, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys owning the accounting process, partnering with operations, and contributing to the financial success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a blend of public accounting and private industry experience, a strong operational mindset, and the ability to manage the full month-end close process.

• Own and manage the complete month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Partner with operations to analyze financial results, improve processes, and provide actionable business insights.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audit support, and maintaining strong internal controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including a mix of public accounting and private industry.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
