Performs clerical duties related to Bursar Office services primarily at the Valparaiso campus location.
Major Responsibilities- Serves as the first contact with students, faculty and staff for bursar questions and issues either in person or on the phone
- Receive payments & key payments into the system of record – Banner
- Reconcile daily cash drawer with Banner report; correct discrepancies before finalizing report in Banner
- Process all requests for official transcripts
- Apply all charges for proctored exams / tests
- Process payments received by mail to student accounts in Banner
- Issue bus and parking passes & maintain database (Access) for both
- Review and approve Student Computer Requests and maintain database (Access)
- Perform all other related duties as assigned consistent with commonly accepted practices
Hourly Wage: $15.00.
Schedule:
up to 28 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Six (6) months to one (1) year cash handling & customer service experience
- First class customer service and communication experience
- Strong organizational skills
