## Description## Kidstop Site Coordinator

** Porter Lakes Elementary School – 208 S 725 W, Hebron, IN 46341  
** Position Type:
** Part-Time (Maximum 29 hours per week)  
** Hourly Rate:** $15.50 per hour  
** Schedule (Split Shift):
*** Monday–Friday, 6:20 a.m. – 8:40 a.m. (before school)
* Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (after school)---###

Position Overview The Kidstop Site Coordinator is responsible for the daily supervision and overall operation of the Kidstop program at Porter Lakes Elementary School. This position focuses heavily on grant compliance, program documentation, and outcome-based programming while ensuring a safe, structured, and engaging environment for youth.

The Site Coordinator serves as a mentor and role model, motivating and encouraging members while ensuring all programming aligns with grant requirements and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities #### Program Development & Implementation
* Assist in the creation, planning, and implementation of outcome-based programs aligned with grant goals and youth development best practices.
* Develop and lead activities focused on education, homework support, arts & crafts, and physical activity.
* Actively encourage members to participate in all activities and programs.
* Communicate new ideas, program successes, and necessary adjustments to the Director to ensure member needs are being met.#### Grant & Program Compliance
* Administer, track, and document all grant-funded programs to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
* Maintain accurate and timely records, including attendance, participation data, assessments, and required grant paperwork.
* Ensure all documentation is completed thoroughly and submitted by required deadlines.
* Monitor program outcomes and assist in reporting data to demonstrate impact and effectiveness.#### Youth Supervision & Engagement
* Ensure a safe, positive, and structured environment focused on member safety and well-being at all times.
* Serve as a mentor and tutor, providing homework assistance and academic support.
* Provide guidance and constructive feedback while recognizing members’ achievements.
* Address unacceptable behavior in a manner that maintains and enhances self-esteem, ensuring incidents and accomplishments are properly documented.#### Operations & Communication
* Assist the Director with maintaining a safe and organized facility and program equipment.
* Promote the Kidstop program to school personnel and parents, informing them of upcoming events and activities.
* Collect payments from guardians following established procedures.
* Attend all required staff and agency meetings.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.## Qualifications
** Knowledge/

Skills Required:

*** High school diploma or equivalent
* Some college education preferred
* Previous experience working with youth, particularly elementary school age
* Working knowledge of youth development as well as experience with Boys & Girls Clubs preferred
* Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems
* Capable of organizing and supervising members in a safe environment
* Ability to communicate effectively with youth, parents, staff, volunteers and general public
* Facilitate quality programs for youth
* Strong organization and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize
* Able to work with minimal supervision at a remote site location while maintaining a positive, calm demeanor
* Must possess or have the ability to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid
* Ability to pass a criminal history background check.
* Ability to satisfactorily pass a drug screen for all federally illegal substances.
* Must be eligible to work in the US.
