Clinical Coordinator for Undergraduate Nursing
Valparaiso University College of Nursing and Health Professions invites applications for its Clinical Coordinator for Undergraduate Nursing position. This position is a full-time, 12-month appointment, beginning June 2026.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, developing and maintaining long-term relationships with educational partners at various clinical agencies, facilitating contract approvals, placing undergraduate nursing students in clinical or community experiences, hiring and orienting clinical instructors, and collaborating with the Assistant Dean for Undergraduate Nursing.
The successful candidate for this position will meet the following requirements:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in nursing. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Possess a current nursing license in the state of Indiana.
- Have a strong understanding of the nursing profession, academic programs, and the clinical experiences required for nursing students.
- Be knowledgeable about the legal and ethical issues related to professional education in nursing.
- Have at least five years of experience working as a professional nurse in an acute care setting.

- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Relationship management and networking ability
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving
Additional information:
- Up to 25% travel
