The RTI Aide position will work with students individually or in small groups providing supplemental reading, writing, and/or mathematics instruction per the students RTI and/or IEP plan.
Duties may include but not be limited to:- Tutoring students in Core content areas:
English, Math, Science and Social Studies. Tutoring will most often include monitoring classwork completion and re‑teaching skills as needed. - Working with the RTI Lead Facilitator in creating a tutor schedule.
- Working with the RTI Lead Facilitator in keeping records of work completed and progress of student performance.
- Working with the RTI Lead Facilitator in communicating with teachers.
- Working with the RTI Lead Facilitator in developing plans for student success.
- Maintain awareness of goals and objectives for students.
- Assist with supervision of hallway, recess, lunch room, buses and car line.
- Cover duties for absent aides and teachers as needed.
Reports to: Principal
Work Period: 180 days/year
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED
Organization and ability to work with others
Physical/Mental: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand‑held devices and other office equipment.
Requirements: Reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
