The College of Nursing and Health Professions (CONHP) at Valparaiso University invites applications for an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy. This is a semester by semester appointment teaching one to two courses per semester. This position is an adjunct appointment, beginning October 2026. The responsibilities of this position include delivery of the educational content of the OT program. The successful candidate must currently have or be eligible for Indiana state licensure as an occupational therapist with all licenses in good standing.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a registered occupational therapist (OTR) and a doctoral degree. Individuals from all practice settings and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Current priorities are for individuals who have experience with older adults, mental health, and/or pediatric populations.
Major Responsibilities:
Teaching primarily in the OTD program, with possibility of teaching in the DrOT program

- Two to three years teaching experience

- DrOT – on-line teaching
