- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field or equivalent experience (minimum 9 years total experience).
- 5+ years of experience managing construction‑related projects.
- 3+ years of experience managing project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
- Working knowledge of operations support systems (e.g., WMS or similar tools).
- Valid in‑state driver’s license upon hire.
- 3+ years of experience working directly with pipeline construction contractors.
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal operating and construction codes.

- Experience supporting large, complex, or high‑visibility infrastructure projects.
The preceding description is not intended to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities. The role requires periodic field presence at active construction sites and interaction with contractors and operations personnel. As a public utility, NiSource is required to provide continuous service to customers at all times. To ensure we fulfill that obligation, employees may be required to work outside their normal work hours and perform tasks outside of their normal responsibilities in support of emergency operations.
