Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department – Nights
Location: Valparaiso, IN

Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours Bi-Weekly (96 bi-weekly not available)
Shift: Nights
Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
On-Call: None
Floating: Required to other Emergency Departments as needed

Unit Details:

• Patient Ratio: 1:4–5

• Orientation: 2 days

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night assignment. This role involves providing comprehensive emergency care from triage through discharge or transfer in a fast-paced ED setting.

Scope of Role:

• Perform rapid triage and patient prioritization

• Conduct thorough assessments and initiate appropriate interventions

• Start IVs and administer medications safely and efficiently

• Provide critical care interventions as needed

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Document all care accurately in Cerner

Requirements:

• Active Indiana RN License

• ACLS required

• BLS required

• Minimum 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience

• Strong skills in patient prioritization, rapid assessment, IV starts, medication administration, and critical care

• Cerner experience required
