Nurse Trainer

Position: Nurse Trainer (50396)
As a Nurse Trainer, this role is responsible for coaching, training and supporting nursing staff and clinical personnel to ensure high-quality, evidenced based patient care. With a passion for teaching, this position will have direct interaction and training of all new hires and current clinical personnel and foster ongoing professional development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* New hire training for all nurses and medical assistants

* Collaborate with Clinical Team Coordinator on training schedules for new hires

* Conducts thorough skills assessments for medical assistants upon hire

* Identifies areas of deficiencies and provides individual training as needed

* Communicates with preceptors and supervisors on training progress and as needed

* Will conduct reassessments on any new hire skills based on need

* Communicate with Director of Nursing, Medical Assistant Supervisors and Site Operations Directors about all training needs and updates

* Review and update orientation materials for nurses and clinical personnel, making revisions or recreating content as training requirements evolve

* Creating instructional videos using different learning platforms

* Conduct on-site 30, 60, 90 day evaluations on the skills and competencies of all new hires

* Participate in the on-going development and training of annual skills competencies

* Travel to all Health Linc clinics and Corporate office is required
