Summary/Objective
Ensuring practices are followed in support of the food safety program; maintaining equipment; keeping the bakery area neat and orderly. Efficiently producing large quantities of bakery products daily. Primary production processes include panning up dough, shaping/scoring dough, proofing, baking, topping, sheeting, and frying donuts, pastries, and breads. Primary packaging processes include panning up finished products by store category, packaging retail packs, boxes, printing labels, etc.

Essential Functions- Adheres to the company’s vision and mission

- Ensures bakery areas are kept clean and organized
- Maintains sanitation and food safety through regular inspections of equipment, supplies and proper food storage
- Maintains proper rotation of products
- Mixes dough and batters, makes icings and fillings, and keeps the bakery neat and orderly
- Maintains systems and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food products
- Maintains systems and procedures for packaging and shipping bakery/food products
- Operates all equipment required by the position

Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Work Environment: Must have flexibility to work all shifts, all days of the week when necessary. Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures. Exposure to cleaning solvents.
Role Qualifications- Communication skills necessary to produce food products safely and efficiently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Bakery/food service related experience.
- Certified food handler.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

While performing duties, the employee is required to stand for prolonged periods; work longer than eight (8) hour shifts; reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch; talk and hear; taste and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus.
