CNC Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Your tasks

• Operating CNC machining equipment following a production schedule.
• Accurately labeling parts.
• Stamping parts as needed.
• Moving finished parts to the proper areas.
• Keeping the machine filled with coolant.
• Ensuring that refractometer readings are within acceptable levels.
• Monitoring and filling the way oil reservoir.
• Maintaining a clean workstation adhering to 5S standards.
• Programming and machining new fixtures.
• Training new employees.
• Programming and machining prototype parts and new jobs.

• Safety is our highest priority; safety procedures and guidelines must be adhered to. Personal protective equipment such as safety-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection (optional) are required.
• This is a 3rd‑shift position, working 11:00 pm–7:00 am, with overtime as needed.
• The job is within a climate‑controlled environment, and you will be exposed to forklifts, pedestrian traffic, and moderate noise.
• The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.

Your profile

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. This role does not sponsor visas.
• Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant CNC machining experience.
• Ability to work an 8‑hour shift.
• Ability to lift to 25 lbs.

• All basic qualifications required for CNC Machine Operator 1.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant CNC machining experience.
• Intermediate maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform tasks outside of department.
• Intermediate experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.

• All basic qualifications required for CNC Machine Operator 2.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant CNC machining experience.
• Intermediate maintenance experience.
• Advanced experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.
• CMM experience.

• All basic qualifications required for CNC Machinist 1.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant CNC machining experience.
• Advanced maintenance experience.
• Expert level experience working with steel and aluminum, hoist operation, measurement capabilities, blueprint reading, machine programming, and basic safety procedures.

The hourly rate for this position is $16.00 – $40.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a quarterly incentive program. This role will be eligible for shift differential which is added onto your hourly rate. The additional shift differential is $1.00 per hour for third shift. Pay rate is based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
