What You’ll Do- Manage and oversee ISO documents and reporting.
- Ensure corrective actions are properly generated and effectively closed.
- Apply knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems (preferred but not required).
- Promote a culture of quality through process and procedural improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Quality Specialist to enhance and maintain the quality system.
- Resolve any additional issues as they arise with the appropriate SMS personnel.
- Work with multiple departments to expedite a solution to the non‑conforming part.
- Speak with vendors to assist in technical resolution.
- Use tools for part inspection.
- Prior experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or machining environment (preferred but not required).
- Two‑year college or university program certificate with 2 years of experience, or a 4‑year college or university degree.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Familiarity with reading and understanding mechanical drawings (preferred).
- Will be required to use tools for part inspection.
- Computer skills:
Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn ERP systems; spreadsheet and word‑processing software;
Adobe Acrobat Professional; MS Access; photo‑editor software;
Outlook;
Microsoft Visio;
PowerPoint. - Experience using SAP (preferred but not required).
