This is an excellent opportunity for someone with inspection experience who enjoys working with precision measuring instruments, interpreting blueprints, and being a key part of the quality process.

• Perform inspections throughout the manufacturing process to verify product quality.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Complete non-destructive testing and quality evaluations according to established procedures.
• Review and interpret manufacturing drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records and reports.
• Inspect incoming customer materials and components to determine processing requirements.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.
• Support assembly and production teams with quality inspections and troubleshooting.
• Utilize computer systems to enter inspection results and maintain records.
• Collaborate with production personnel to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.

• Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing inspections.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience documenting inspection results and maintaining quality records.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with non-destructive testing methods.
• Experience inspecting metal or machined components.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or manufacturing software.
• Previous experience in a machine shop or industrial manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of VALPARAISO, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $55000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
