Quality Technician

What You'll Do- Perform inspections throughout the manufacturing process to verify product quality.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Complete non-destructive testing and quality evaluations according to established procedures.
- Review and interpret manufacturing drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records and reports.
- Inspect incoming customer materials and components to determine processing requirements.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.
- Support assembly and production teams with quality inspections and troubleshooting.
- Utilize computer systems to enter inspection results and maintain records.
- Collaborate with production personnel to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing inspections.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Experience documenting inspection results and maintaining quality records.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with non-destructive testing methods.
- Experience inspecting metal or machined components.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or manufacturing software.
- Previous experience in a machine shop or industrial manufacturing environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of VALPARAISO, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
