We are seeking a motivated and dependable Junior Safety Technician to support our safety team in maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily safety inspections and workplace observations.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and potential safety violations.
  • Help maintain safety records, inspection reports, and documentation.
  • Support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training.
  • Assist with incident and near‑miss investigations.
  • Help ensure employees follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and site‑specific procedures.
  • Assist with PPE inspections and proper PPE compliance.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
  • Communicate safety concerns to supervisors and the safety management team.
  • Perform other safety‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred; OSHA 30 is a plus.
  • Previous plant, manufacturing, construction, refinery, or industrial experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and OSHA regulations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be willing to work in an industrial environment and follow all safety procedures.
  • Ability to recognize hazards and communicate concerns effectively.
  • Previous safety experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
Preferred Skills
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Industrial/plant safety experience
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Familiarity with PPE, LOTO, fall protection, confined space, and hazard communication
  • Basic computer and documentation skills
