Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Junior Safety Technician to support our safety team in maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily safety inspections and workplace observations.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and potential safety violations.
- Help maintain safety records, inspection reports, and documentation.
- Support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training.
- Assist with incident and near‑miss investigations.
- Help ensure employees follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and site‑specific procedures.
- Assist with PPE inspections and proper PPE compliance.
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
- Communicate safety concerns to supervisors and the safety management team.
- Perform other safety‑related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred; OSHA 30 is a plus.
- Previous plant, manufacturing, construction, refinery, or industrial experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and OSHA regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be willing to work in an industrial environment and follow all safety procedures.
- Ability to recognize hazards and communicate concerns effectively.
- Previous safety experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Industrial/plant safety experience
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Familiarity with PPE, LOTO, fall protection, confined space, and hazard communication
- Basic computer and documentation skills
