Allied Fire Sales & Service is an authorized dealer of fire, EMS, and industrial emergency equipment. The line card includes Dräger self-contained breathing apparatus, Innotex and PGI turnout gear, Coltri breathing-air compressors, extractors and wash systems, hose, nozzles and fittings, foam, thermal imaging, scene lighting, and Sound Off emergency lighting.

Allied is appointing one outside sales representative for Northwest Indiana. This territory is the company's industrial seat. The representative will develop and service municipal fire departments, standalone EMS agencies, and confirmed plant fire departments along the Lake Michigan industrial corridor, with a scheduled loop through the four rural counties on the south end of the territory.

Municipal fire and EMS. Primary fire accounts include Gary, Hammond, East Chicago, Hobart, Merrillville, Crown Point, Griffith, Munster, Highland, Valparaiso, Portage, Chesterton, Michigan City, and La Porte, plus large Lake and Porter township departments. La Porte County EMS operates a 12-ambulance ALS system separate from the fire departments. Porter County 911 ambulance is contracted to Northwest Health EMS with in Health support;
Valparaiso / Center Township fire-EMS is a separate shop. Most Lake County career cities run fire-based EMS and should not be double‑counted as a second ambulance account.

Industrial targets (verified).

• BP Whiting Refinery Fire Department (Lake County) — full industrial fire department; documented SCBA use
• U.S. Steel Gary Works Fire Department (Lake County) — standing industrial fire department
• Cleveland-Cliffs Burns Harbor (Porter County) — on-site fire station and mutual‑aid municipal response

Newton, Jasper, Starke, Pulaski, and Benton are coverage counties (volunteer and combination departments, grain-bin rescue, foam).

• Own all assigned fire, EMS, and industrial accounts in the eight counties
• Prospect, specify, quote, and close Dräger SCBA, turnout, breathing air, extractors, hose, foam, and lighting
• Call on plant fire chiefs and brigade leadership at the three confirmed industrial departments on a weekly cadence
• Batch the four rural counties into a single south-day route
• Prepare municipal and industrial quotations; support bid packages where required
• Maintain CRM notes, forecast, and pipeline
• Represent Allied at regional fire and industrial safety events

One hundred percent commission. The representative earns 40 percent of Allied's margin on all sales in your territory, Illustrative tickets: one complete Dräger fire pack at $8,500 pays about $510; a 20-pack replacement at about $170,000 pays about $10,200; a plant 35–40 pack with a Coltri fill station is an $18,000–$22,000 quarter.

Indicative range if the territory is worked: year 1 approximately $26,000–$45,000; established year $66,000–$102,000; a plant‑fleet year $90,000–$156,000. No base salary. The representative funds vehicle, fuel, insurance, phone, and business expenses.

• Outside sales experience to fire departments, industrial fire brigades, plant HSE, or closely related municipal / industrial buyers
• Ability to live in Valparaiso, Crown Point, Portage, Chesterton, or Michigan City
• Ability to operate as a 1099 contractor and fund 9–12 months of ramp
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Working knowledge of SCBA, turnout, or breathing-air systems preferred
