Aerial Lineman

• Safety Compliance: Perform all duties according to prescribed safety procedures and utilize appropriate safety equipment at all times.
• Cable Installation: Install and relocate aerial and underground cables, including fiber optic, transportation, distribution, and drop cables, ensuring industry standards and technical reliability are met.
• Crew Support: Provide comprehensive support for line crews during all phases of construction activity.
• Equipment Operation: Operate digger derrick trucks for pole setting, pole transfers, anchor installation, and aerial construction support.

  Hands‑on experience operating digger derrick trucks specifically in utility or telecom construction.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to climb poles to cable height using pole climber gaffs.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator license with a CDL Class A.
• Communication: Must be able to speak the English language fluently and clearly.
• Compliance: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test (with subsequent random testing) and a customer-driven background check.
• Certification: Completion of a pre‑employment, on‑site certification to demonstrate the ability to perform duties to the satisfaction of construction supervision.

• Physical Demand: This role is physically demanding and requires significant manual labor, including walking on uneven ground and working in tight spaces.
• Lifting Requirements: Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and infrequent lifting of up to 100 pounds.
• Schedule: Ability to work up to 6 days per week in an all-weather environment.
• Travel: Must be willing to travel throughout multiple work sites as required.
