Industrial Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will spend 90% of your day troubleshooting and 10% on preventive maintenance of automated machinery including presses, vacuum systems, and robots. You will perform extensive troubleshooting of hydraulics and pneumatics, and have the opportunity to work with AB PLC's 5s/500s, Fanuc robotics, and AC/DC motors. Your role will also involve replacing seals, bearings, and gearboxes, welding, and fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain automated equipment, including presses and vacuum systems.
- Perform extensive troubleshooting of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Edit and troubleshoot AB PLC's 5s/500s.
- Replace seals, bearings, and gearboxes as needed.
- Work with Fanuc robotics and AC/DC motors.
- Conduct welding and fabrication tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in troubleshooting and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience with electrical systems up to 480V, single and three-phase.
- Ability to troubleshoot hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with welding and fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience with extensive troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of 480 Volt, AC/DC motors.

Work Environment
You will work in a lean manufacturing automotive facility that is temperature regulated in the winter and very clean, with good lighting and automated processes. Maintenance employees are required to wear company uniforms. The role involves working 2nd and 3rd shifts from Monday to Saturday, with plenty of overtime opportunities up to 60 hours per week. The majority of the work will be on weekends for preventive maintenance and projects.

This is a Permanent position based out of Valparaiso, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $74880.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Direct placement, full benefits with UGN.
