Industrial Maintenance Technician

$28-$37/hour based on experience

This is a true multi-craft maintenance role focused primarily on troubleshooting and repair.

• Troubleshoot and repair automated production equipment
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures
• Work with industrial robots and automated manufacturing systems
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments to PLC-controlled equipment
• Repair and replace bearings, seals, gearboxes, motors, and machine components
• Perform hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
• Support preventive maintenance activities and reliability improvements
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs when needed
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime

• Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Maintenance Electrician, or Electro-Mechanical Technician experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills up to 480V
• Experience with AC/DC motors and industrial controls
• Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting experience
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience with automated machinery
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn

• PLC troubleshooting and editing experience
• Robotics experience
• Manufacturing automation experience
• Experience supporting high-volume production equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Valparaiso, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $74880.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
